Windows 7 To Be Released On October 22nd 2009
Microsoft announced today that Windows 7 will be released October 22nd. Although Microsoft said Windows 7 would be out in time for the holiday period, Windows 7 RTM build should hit the streets around August, users will be able to buy or upgrade their systems starting October 22nd 2009.
Manufacturers already seem to be licking their lips in anticipation of Windows 7’s release, so expect to be bombarded with Windows 7 promotions this Christmas:
