How To Disable The New Windows 7 Taskbar

Microsoft introduced new taskbar in windows 7, its totally different than any previous version of windows, The new taskbar supposed to be more efficient and easier to navigate through open windows and programs.

But if you new to windows 7 you many find the new taskbar little difficult to use, it may take you few weeks to get used to but as soon as you get used to it you will find its nothing like any other version of windows easier to use, But if you want to get back to the old taskbar like you used to you can customize windows 7 taskbar to look like windows vista or xp taskbar.

1-Right click on the windows 7 taskbar and select properties.

2-From the Taskbar and start menu Properties under the taskbar tab look for taskbar buttons, and select “Never combine” from the dropdown menu.

After you don click ok, you will noticed the taskbar changed to look like the old taskbar

If you think the taskbar buttons still looks too big to you go back to the Taskbar and start menu Properties , and mark the third option “Use small icons”
