Mozilla finally released Firefox Beta 1, this version is build on the Gecko 1.9.2 web rendering platform, with many improvements for web developer, Add-on developers, and end users. This version is faster and more responsive than previous versions. Firefox 3.6 has been under development for several months now.

Firefox 3.6 / Gecko 1.9.2 introduces several new features:

• Firefox 3.6 will alert users about out of date plugins to keep them safe.
• Users can now change their browser’s appearance with a single click, with built in support for Personas.
• Open, native video can now be displayed full screen, and supports poster frames.
• Support for the WOFF font format.
• Improved JavaScript performance, overall browser responsiveness and startup time.
• Support for new CSS, DOM and HTML5 web technologies.

Windows 7 introduced a new feature which allows you to install and run any application on Windows XP environment, You still can run any unsupported application on windows 7 by using Windows XP mode. (a virtual Windows XP environment for Windows 7).

But not all computers support this features, you must have processor that support  hardware virtualization, also you need to enable it in BIOS in order to use windows xp mode.

Microsoft released HAV (hardware-assisted virtualization) detection tool that help you check whether your processor supports hardware virtualization or not.

First download and run the HAV tool, if your processor supports hardware virtualization you will get this message, and you should be able to run windows xp mode without problems.

If you have download and installed the latest windows 7 themes released by Microsoft. And you wanted only to use the wallpapers, not the whole theme pack and as you may already know these themes contains, desktop background, screen savers, windows border color, and sound scheme. You can extract only the wallpapers and use them.

There are two methods to extract wallpapers from windows 7

Method One:

first install the theme you want to extract the wallpapers from then navigate to

C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Themes\THEMENAME

Locate the the older with the name “DesktopBackground” open it and you will find all of the theme wallpapers.

Method Two:

The second method and easier one you don’t have to install the theme if you don’t want to, just download Just download and install 7-Zip, then right click on the them you want and select extract.
