According to Microsoft roadmap windows 8 will be released on 2012 and it appears that windows 8 is going to be Major release as you notice from the roadmap windows 7 is just release update and yes its just new and improved windows vista, i winder how Microsoft going to surprise us in windows 8. some people says windows 8 will be major release because it will focus on 64 bit architecture and virtualization/Cloud

What this has to do with the end of the world? you should notice Microsoft will release windows 8 three years from now on 2012, some superstitions saying that the world will end on 2012 around December 21 so if this true windows 8 could be the last windows Microsoft release then the world will end. Or may be worse it could be SkyNet.
