If you have large screen ie. larger than 19” you must have noticed that many websites used fixed width (800px) and there are two spaces on both left and right side, you can use this space to increase your productivity, so you can resize Firefox window and open another window or may be even another application ,but what if you want to split Firefox window so you can browse two website at the same time, that would be amazing, You can use Split Browser to do this its a free add-on for Firefox that splits your screen to make space for more content
What Split Browser actually do is splits the content area and not the whole browser, so you can open new tab in the same window so both site can be viewed in the same time.
Amazing isn’t it?, To split the current tab in new window, just right-click the tab, select ‘Split Tab To’ and then select the area where you would like to split.
With Split Browser you can split the screen both vertically and horizontally, you can select how you want to view it by going to Split tab.
Split Browser has various useful options which help in customizing the add-on to your personal need. You can configure the General settings, Appearance, Combination options, and Menu.
