.edu and .gov backlinks are very important to your website pagerank and because pagerank depends on the quality of your backlinks, you want to consider these links when you build links to your site.

search engines call these links (authority link) , its hard to get .edu and .gov backlinks , but i’v found one way to do it

first you need to search for sites, blogs, forums…. that have .edu and .gov

you can search on google by using these search terms

“keyword” “powered by wordpress” site:.edu

“keyword” “powered by wordpress” site:.gov

you place the keyword you looking for and then you can change powered by wordpress to what ever you want vBulletin, joomla, phpbb………

Examples

“microsoft” “powered by wordpress” site:.edu

“technology” “powered by vbulletin” site:.gov

now you can search for blogs, forums… that have these keywords , most of these blogs, forums allow users to register so you can start posting comment and posts, but don’t spam try to leave useful comments.
