The administrator account let you install any program or change any on windows vista setting
Note: any change you made with the administrator account will affect in all other users account
so you have to be careful for what you changing
To add the administrator account to vista welcome screen
start/ run/ type control userpasswords2

under the user account window select the advanced tab
click on the advanced tab under advanced user management

From Local user and grump window select users then double click on the Administrator

in the Administrator properties uncheck Account is disabled

then click ok
reboot you pc or log off the current user you will see the administrator account in the welcome screen

If you read How this post you may noticed that you can’t add internet explorer by this way so here is the way to add internet explorer to the Desktop
open the Registry editor Start/run/ then type regedit
in the Registry editor navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\HideDesktopIcons\NewStartPanel
create a new key DWORD 32-bit
then copy and past the following to the new key
{871C5380-42A0-1069-A2EA-08002B30309D}
close the Registry editor , then go to the desktop and right click then choose refresh
you’ll see internet explorer shortcut immediately

After installing windows vista you may noticed that there is now Desktop Icons
To add Desktop Icons in windows vista
Right Click on the desktop and choose personalize

then choose change desktop Icons

From The Desktop Icons Setting Check all the icons you want to place on the desktop
and click ok

1-Copying and moving files and folders
if you want to move or move files or folder simply select the folders or files you want to and drag it where you want it to be

if you want to copy the files or folders instead of moviing just hold down the ctrl bottom

2-add or remove links to favorites links
simply select the folder you want to add to the favorites links then drag and drop to the favorites links

removing links from the favorites links select the folder you want then right click and choose remove link
