i just installed and tried The New windows Live messenger 8.5 Beta
from the first look i didn’t see any cool and new feature , so i guess this version is just regular update
if you want to practice in Beta testing you can join by signing up to Microsoft connect
there is some new change in the main window interface and the conversation window
at the conversation window you can see that contact staue line has been moved from the bottom to the conversation window
well i hope that will be new feature in the final version
