Many of windows tricks require some registry modification like change values, or add new values, And if you made one mistake on windows registry your computer may not functional as it was before. so you must back up windows registry first before doing any changes just in case something bad happened.
How To Back up the Windows registry
- Press Start > Run and type regedit
- From the registry Editor window Go to File > Export
- Save the file in save place on your hard drive or USB memory card
How To Restore up the Windows registry
- Press Start > Run and type regedit
- From the registry Editor window Go to File > Import
- Choose the backup file you created before

Have you ever ran out space on the drive where windows installed? this may happened because you installed too many programs or your don’t have enough space.
There are simple tip to avoid this, change the default install directory usually it’s “C:\Programs Files” you need to change this drive to something else where there is enough space for example drive D
- Open up start menu choose run/and type regedit
- Now navigate to this path “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion”
- On the right side select “ProgramFilesDir” the Defualt value should be “C:\Programs Files” you need to change it to something like that “D:\Program files”
Now windows will use the location you have choosed instead of “C:\Programs Files” for any new program you install.
